The main purpose of this book is to present to the readers the Family Moral Values enshrined in the Valmiki Ramayana which is one of the most ancient Indian Epic and in the Official Documents of the Catholic Church. In the present modern urban world marriages take place between the persons belonging to different religions. Thus families are formed by couples of two different religions, particularly in Indian context, between Hindus and Catholics. It is the author's sincere desire to help such couples married but belonging to Catholic and Hindu religious traditions, to understand the richness, goodness and the beauty of family moral values present in their own and in other religious traditions and begin to respect one another's religious tradition and find a way to live those values. The author desires that there be perfect harmony and peace and love in all the families and particularly families formed out of inter-religious context.

El Rev. Dr. Maria Michael Peters, C.PP.S, pertenece a la Congregación de los Misioneros de la Preciosísima Sangre de Jesucristo, conocidos como Misioneros de la Preciosa Sangre. Fue ordenado sacerdote por San Juan Pablo II el 26 de mayo de 1991 en el Vaticano, en la Basílica de San Pedro.
