Mr. Jeffers is a performing artist, author, and educator. He is the founder of the Storybook Theatre of Hawaii a 39 year old not for profit corporation that serves young children and their families. He the producer and co-star of 'The Russell the Rooster TV Show' and 'The Children's Earth Count Radio Show' both locally created weekly family programs broadcast on cable television and streaming internet statewide in Hawai`i as well as the U.S. Mainland.. Mr. Jeffers has performed for tens of thousands of children and adults in Hawai`i, the Mainland U.S. and Cook Islands, South Pacific as a professional Storyteller. Additionally, Mark has operated 'Russell the Rooster' (among other puppets) for the last 20 years for various programs and currently, Mark is completing the construction of the International Children's Peace Garden at Storybook Theatre as it's Executive Director.
