Autorenporträt
Sir Anthony Kenny is one of Britain's most distinguished academics and philosophers. He has been Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the University of Oxford, Master of Balliol College, and President of the British Academy. He is particularly well known for his work on Aristotle, Aquinas, Descartes, and Wittgenstein. He has also published acclaimed books on the philosophy of mind and action and the philosophy of religion. His books include The Aristotelian Ethics (OUP, 978), Aristotle's Theory of the Will (Duckworth, 1979), and Aristotle on the Perfect Life (OUP, 1992). His most recent publication is A New History of Western Philosophy (OUP, 2010).
