Do you have a persistent health issue that nothing seems able to help? Have you been told to "diet and exercise" but have been given no clear indication as to what to eat or how to exercise? Are you tired of taking a variety of drugs to manage a condition, and more drugs to manage those drugs' side effects? If your answer to any of the above is "yes!" then this is the book for you. Finally, make sense of it all with the help of the ancient wisdom in this book. You will learn just what to eat, what to avoid, and how exercise and your mental/spiritual health fit into an effective treatment plan. A concise distillation of practical health principles based on the ancient healing system of Tibetan Medical Science, The Eight Principles of Good Health offers a truly holistic perspective on health care. The Eight Principles revealed in this book are the following: 1. Portion Size 2. Water Intake 3. Avoiding Fake Food 4. Balancing Nutrition 5. Avoiding Food Bans 6. Reducing Toxic Load 7. Maintaining a Non-Sedentary Lifestyle 8. Choosing a Positive Perspective These Eight Principles are mainly centered around nutritional and lifestyle practices, and not Tibetan Medicine herbs, as a healthy diet and lifestyle are the most important and effective aspects of therapeutic healing. The Eight Principles of Good Health explains just why this is, as it brings the wisdom of a traditional medical system into the modern world, by way of a transformational holistic health book. Immediate application of these principles will benefit most all disorders and diseases; as, from the perspective of holistic health, the innumerable expressions of imbalance are all caused by only a handful of fundamental issues.

From there, he studied the ancient medical system with Tibetan physicians in exile in Western Massachusetts, then in Western China. While living in Qinghai Province, he wrote the first edition of The Tibetan Phrasebook (2013) and completed his practicum under the guidance of accomplished physicians. In late 2014 he opened Holistic Health Consulting, an appointment-only clinic located in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area, where he's practiced Tibetan Medical Science ever since.
