The present study was intended to investigate the effectiveness of Semantic Mapping and DRTA Strategies on Developing Benha High Institute of Technology Students' Reading Comprehension Skills. For this purpose, 120 first-year BHIT Students were randomly selected and assigned to a first experimental group (N=40), a second experimental group (N=40) and a control group (N=40). The first experimental group studied using the Semantic Mapping strategy, the second experimental group studied using the DRTA strategy and the control group studied using the traditional method. To achieve the objectives of the study, the One Way ANOVA was used to investigate the differences between the control group and the experimental groups. Scheffe's test has been used for multiple comparisons in order to find out where the significant differences lie after a significant F ratio has been obtained.Findings revealed that both Semantic Mapping strategy and DRTA strategy were effective in developing BHIT Students' Reading Comprehension Skills.
