Autorenporträt
W. O. E. Oesterley (1866-1950) was awarded an honorary lectureship at King's College in 1923. In 1927, he was named Professor of Hebrew and Old Testament Exegesis at King's until his retirement in 1936. Oesterley was a prolific author, especially in the history of religions and post-biblical Judaism.
