Autorenporträt
Makoto Iokibe is President of the National Defence Academy of Japan. He has served advisor on foreign policy to several Prime Ministers, and is Emeritus Professor of Kobe University, Japan. His publications include Japanese Diplomacy in the 1950s (also published by Routledge). Robert D. Eldridge is Associate Professor in the School of International Public Policy, Osaka University, Japan. His many publications include The Origins of the Bilateral Okinawa Problem (also published by Routledge); and a translation of Miyazawa Kiichi's memoirs Secret Talks between Tokyo and Washington.
