Barbara Reaume Sandre is a retired mathematics teacher with a lifelong interest in genealogy. Her passionate and in-depth research has uncovered a wealth of information about her French-Canadian ancestors and early life in Canada. The Detroit Shoemaker is the third book in her series on her Reaume ancestors, as they become pioneers in each of Quebec, Montreal, Detroit, Windsor, LaSalle, and Amherstburg. Barbara lives in Windsor, Ontario, with her husband Richard.
