Takia Martin was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She attended Innovations HS of Arts Integration, where she deepened a unique force of influence that impacted her everyday life. A sister of two, born and raised in poverty, yet her ability to rise above the worst form of violence, is within arm's reach. Apart from her reality, she would be the first in her family to put to end a generational curse. A family structure built upon lies and failure, a place where the future is unknowable, while being a prisoner of her own circumstances. Raised by a single mother, clueless of where her story could take her. Although she lives under the shadows of the Almighty, and has suffered a great deal of darkness. She is determined to build back the bridge and write her mistakes.
