Autorenporträt

Beverly was born in St. Louis, Missouri, but lived a few years in Paducah, Kentucky, until the age of nine when her family returned to St. Louis. Beverly is a proud graduate of the St. Louis Public School system where she studied dance, fashion, photography, and art. Although she is a self-proclaimed life-learner, Beverly also has earned an Associate in Arts degree from St. Louis Community College-Florissant Valley and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis. Beverly has worked for nearly eleven years with juveniles in social services and currently helps to run a nonprofit for youth called The Worldwide Young Adult and Youth Development Project. She has three beautiful children: two girls and one boy. This book was created due to Beverly's desire to know more about the history of her family, especially those of members she could no longer ask. She is very excited about this book for her family, as well as for yours.
