Depression sets in and hubby dearest begins administering uppers and downers and she is diagnosed with a drug induced paranoia. He commits her to an asylum and takes total control of her empire. Her life becomes a nightmare as she is forced to undergo the shock therapy treatments designed to rid her of her depression. After many, many months she realizes that in order to survive she must pull herself together, somehow escape, verify her sanity and regain her place in society.
