Romney commenced his career as a secondary school teacher working in some of the most well-known schools in Australia, including Head of Department positions in Oxford and Wimbledon, United Kingdom. He first represented his country at the age of 12 at the World Championships in Hong Kong in the sport of Dragon Boat Racing and then went on to represent his state across multiple sporting disciplines including athletics and surf lifesaving. In 2008, Romney authored his first book, PE on the GO; a physical education resource for teachers. At the beginning of 2019, he created and developed The Goal Tracker, a powerful and effective resource developed to Create, Track and Achieve your goals. After founding and operating a corporate events business in Queensland, Australia, he joined the largest global provider of outside school hours care for schools in 2009 and progressed to a National role. During his tenure, he was pivotal in building the family business to eventually be sold for over $400 million to a private US investment group. In 2019, Romney founded The Life Graduate program with the vision to empower individuals from across the globe to achieve a successful and fulfilling life through his high-performance coaching programs facilitated in educational institutions, businesses and sporting clubs along with private performance coaching.
