Through a critical analysis of selected issues, the work explores the chronic contradictions that have consistently clogged the continent's pathway to good governance and sustainable development. The study appropriately diagnosed the socio-political, economic and historical antecedents of the crises and used such to proffer remedial actions for good governance and sustainable development in the continent.
