In the context of structural adjustment policies, cooperatives and cooperative movements have been revitalized after several failures in the past in most developing countries, especially in sub-Saharan Africa. However, the rural population is faced with a situation of precariousness and struggles to access basic social services. This study aims to examine the contribution of cooperative movements in improving the socio-economic conditions of farmers. For this purpose, data were obtained through a documentary review, an interview guide and a 24-question questionnaire from 52 producers of the COOPAM, COORAP, COOPAKEL cooperatives of the Réseau des Organisations Paysannes et Pastorales du Sénégal. To this end, RESOPP provides support in areas such as agriculture, livestock, processing of agricultural products, project financing and capacity building. It also supports cooperative farmers in seed production where 55.7% of these producers are satisfied with the support on quality or certified seeds. RESOPP's support has also contributed to increasing yields
