The Belarusian economy showed growth above the global average for two consecutive years - in 2023 and 2024. The main drivers were industry, construction, trade, and transportation. By the end of 2024, the foreign trade turnover of goods and services of Belarus amounted to more than one hundred billion dollars, having increased by more than five percent compared to 2023. At the same time, domestic exports of goods and services increased by three and a half percent to almost 50 billion dollars compared to 2023. In this context, expanding contacts with Asian countries is the most urgent task for Belarus, as this continent is a very capacious and rapidly expanding market. Back in 2021, the Belarusian-Asian Forum noted that there are still many opportunities to promote Belarusian interests in Asia. But for this purpose, it is necessary to continue systematic work, initiating new formats of contacts in interaction with a number of Asian countries. How are these specific tasks being addressed in terms of prospective interaction in trade and economic, industrial-cooperative and scientific-technological terms? This is the subject of this study.
