Autorenporträt
Massimo Modonesi is a historian and sociologist, Professor at the Political and Social Sciences College in the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). He is the author of 15 books and close to 200 articles on Marxist concepts and sociopolitical movements in Mexico and Latin America. Alfonso García Vela is professor and researcher in the Instituto de Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades, at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, Mexico. His fields of research and teaching are sociology, Frankfurt School critical theory, modern social theory, and Western Marxism. His latest publication is Open Marxism 4. Against a Closing World (Pluto Press, 2020) co-edited with Ana Cecilia Dinerstein, John Holloway, and Edith González. María Vignau Loría is a Ph.D. Candidate in Sociology at the University of Washington. Her research agenda includes social theory, international migration, and demography.
