Choosing a good strategy before entering into a foreign country is really demanding as the strategy s choice will affect positively or negatively firm s performance. Thus, a correct choice of the entry strategy plays a key role for companies expansion. Theoretical frameworks and the analysis of the industry are not enough for a firm while it is deciding its entry mode into a foreign market. The key success factor to determine the right entry strategy lies on a structure based on three perspectives: industry based competition, firm specific resources and capabilities and institutional conditions and transitions. The main objective of this project is to explain the elements that influence the decision makers on their final choice for the entry strategy for markets overseas, highlighting the importance of a correct analysis of the right factors before taking action.
