Der Autor ist Leiter des Umwelt- und Sozialreferats in der Nationalen Tunnelbehörde (NAT). Er verfügt über ein doppeltes Fachwissen: praktisch und akademisch. Seit seinem Studienabschluss hat er an zahlreichen Infrastrukturprojekten mitgearbeitet. Er hat einen Master of Science und einen Doktortitel der Universität Kairo in den Bereichen Bauingenieurwesen und Management.
