This book is based on the author's feelings, opinions, some truths, and her vivid imagination. The author used her imagination to pseudo-historical events to bring the readers in that moment. Any resemblance to actual persons and their location, living or deceased is coincidental, pertaining to The Bronze Plantation and Mr. Ed. However; Mr. Ed's portion has some element of truth. The author allowed her readers to visualized the conditions and get a feel of the climate at that time. Also, this book chronicles the life of the people living on the Bronze Plantation, the Massa, and his slaves. It takes you through the struggles and good times of their individual lives. This book will captivate you; make you interested in the plight and struggles of each individual character. Make sure you introduce yourself to all the characters on the next page of this book. This will help you get to know each person and how they are related to each other. The second part of this book introduces you to an individual named Mr. Ed who is a descendant of William, a slave. Mr. Ed possesses a very high sex drive; he has a strong personality and lots of charisma; (compelling attractiveness and charm that inspires devotion in others). It will take you through his married life to Della and the unnecessary struggles he placed on his eleven children. The last part of the book introduces you to individual stories of the struggles and racism African Americans had to endure as they strived to make a life and living for themselves and their families in the United States of America up to this present day. The author takes you back to the 1700ths where African Americans didn't have a voice but they never gave up hope. Their spirituality was their comfort and this helped keep them grounded. The author also, thought it was essential to revisit critical events that happened in history that were excluded from the history books intentionally to protect white people and to keep descendants of slaves from ever receiving retributions for their hate crimes. The author uses this book as a teaching tool to educate. Let me be clear, all the Massacres cited in this book happened, but most of these Massacres didn't receive any recognition until later on when historians and people doing research started demanding the truth. After extensive research, African Americans found that history had excluded pertinent information about black history. Nevertheless, the author did research to help enlighten herself and her readers about the miscarriage of justice which occurred and is still occurring to this day. The research found disturbing patterns that preceded every massacre of white neighborhood mobs killing blacks in 1700 and 1800 The killings were usually incited by white mobs perpetuated by lies to justify killing blameless blacks. This was done because the white folks felt threatened when Blacks became educated and wanted to become entrepreneurs. This incited the whites to come up with a plan to, PUT THEM IN THEIR PLACE! The author is amazed by the unwavering spirits the slaves demonstrated despite the inhumane treatment they received. The slaves were unyielding and prepared to stake their claim for freedom at any cost. All they wanted were to live a life from oppression. The majority of the Massacres that occurred most of the time involved a black man supposedly disrespecting or causing harm to a white woman. To add flame to the fire, our history books neglected to mention these events. But I am here today, to unravel the truth and expose the lies, we as people demand change and respect!
