Betty, his wife, has four children, Robert, Dan, Cale and Alison, by her first marriage.Mr. and Mrs. Childs live in Winnsboro, Louisiana, where Mr. Childs has been a Hospice Chaplin for seven years. Mr. Childs has also been a United Methodist pastor for forty seven years. His vivid imagination and writing style are unique and a delight.
