Axel Klausmeier: 1965 geboren, Studium der Kunstgeschichte und Neueren Geschichte in Bochum, München und Berlin; 1999 Promotion; von 2001 bis 2006 Assistent an der BTU Cottbus; 2006/07 Oberassistent an der ETH Zürich; 2007/08 wiss. Mitarbeiter in einem DFG-Forschungsprojekt zur Geschichte der Berliner Mauer; seit Januar 2009 Direktor der Stiftung Berliner Mauer.
