The original lineup of sisters, Barbara and Phyllis Allbut, and Linda Jansen (born Linda Jankowski) had their first hit with "Til" released by Gerry Granahan's Caprice label in 1961. The song was followed up with a less-successful single, "Cry Baby Cry." Jansen left the group in 1962 and was replaced by Peggy Santiglia, formerly of The Delicates(Denise Ferri and Arleen Lanzotti).
