The dragon gets ill, coughs, his nose is running, he can no longer spit fire and he cries desperately. The rabbit cures him with carrots and advises him to take everyday showers and brush his teeth, because he was very smelly. At last, an ogre kidnaps a beautiful rabbit girl and Hoppity uses again a trick to get the girl free. They fall in love and marry. The author is the best man at the wedding and is told to prepare himself to soon be a godfather.
