Leslie-Ann Messina has loved reading and writing since she was a young. Her favorite authors and inspirations are Walt Disney, Danielle Steel, Debra Webb, Debbie Macomber, Sue Monk Kidd and James Patterson. Her favorite children's books are "Snow White", "The Red Shoes" and most favorite "Cinderella." She was so happy to see Cinderella come to life in the movies and on stage again. Leslie-Ann is a painter, actor, dancer and loves the theater. She has been active in local community theater since she was in high school. She lives in New York with her husband Phil, son Michael and two Bichon Frise's Genevieve & Lily. This is her second children's book in a three book series. She is thrilled to see "Dolly Go West"
