Every Friday night my brother's and I would gather around the glow of the kerosene lamp for ole story time. My brothers would begin the session the same way every time; "Once upon a time was a good ole time, Brer Bookie chewed tobacco and he spit white lime, dog neck choke, monkey neck broke, and they all went to heaven in a little white boat."
