1889 Mr. Charles Cochrane Oakey drove a horse drawn wagon over the streets of Terre haute, Indiana taking photographs of our city. 2022 My wife Marla and I traveled his path with her driving and my trying to stand where I believed Mr. Oakey stood taking these images. I have a profound respect for Mr. Oakey as it took us over 7 weeks to get the images we captured due to weather, traffic in the backgrounds and such.
