The Tem tica is a river in Serbia and Bulgaria, a right tributary of the Ni ava River. The Tem tica itself is not very long, but receives a much longer tributary, the Viso ica, flowing from Bulgaria, making the Viso ica-Tem tica river system 86 km long.The Tem tica or the Toplodoska reka originates from five streams from the Stara Planina mountain on the Serbo-Bulgarian border. They all join together near the village of Topli Dol, which gives the alternative name to the river. Tem tica carved a canyon, popularly nicknamed "Little Colorado". The river continues to the northwest and receives the Viso ica from the left.
