The policy articulates the nation's ICT objective as to become a knowledge-based globally competitive society by 2020. The intention of Vision 2020 is to achieve two broad objectives:- optimise the potential of human and natural resources to achieve rapid and sustained economic growth; and- translate economic growth into equitable social development.
