Safina Bibi is a children's nurse, Specialist Community Public Practitioner in School Nursing and a registered Practice Teacher. Currently she is a Senior Lecturer for the FdSc Nursing Associate Higher Apprenticeship at Birmingham City University (BCU) , leading on the Professional Practice module. She had a leading role in the team for quality assurance of the pilot site at BCU for the national development of the nursing associate role. Recently alongside her team she collected the Student Nursing Times Award 2021 for 'Nursing Associate Training Programme Provider of the Year'.  Safina is currently studying for her MA in Education, with a keen interest in researching the professional identity of the newly qualified nursing associate in practice.
