"Teaching to live" is the title of Morin's "manifesto for changing education" (2014). We borrow it for our study presented by our book entitled "teaching to live to live well". Teaching to live is a mission of the school to prepare students to confront current scientific, societal and even vital issues. In Tunisia, the ministries of education are committed to improving the living conditions of students and pupils. But these commitments remain hollow. The problem raises two main questions: The knowledge taught to the student is not limited to the exercise of application, but to life skills. We use the case study research methodology of questioning around the perception of learning to live by teaching. The results obtained show that the pupils seem to have a non-conflictual triangular relationship with both the discipline and the teacher and are aware of the human values and the values of living together conveyed by the teaching.
