Through the centuries, stories have been used to shape life events as well as to preserve the culture and history of human kind. The stories also proved to be good educational and amusing tool for children of different ages. Different research show benefits that stories bring to children's education and development. Since the benefits are evident, it is necessary to examine the perception of the teachers about stories, because they are in a situation to use stories a lot in their practice. The main aim of this research was to gain insight into teachers' perception of stories in the Swedish context.
Autorenporträt
Dragana Gnjatovic graduated at Preschool Teachers Training College of Applied Studies in Serbia and worked as a preschool teacher. In 2012, Dragana won Erasmus Mundus scholarship and graduated International Master in Early Childhood Education and Care. Presently, she works as a manager of the childcare facilities at the University of Malta.
