Autorenporträt
The 2008 economic downturn made it impossible for Annalise to sustain herself in broadcasting any more so she gave up on L.A. and went home to Albuquerque to make a new life. When she unexpectedly takes a job as a high school teacher, she's jarred by the challenge. This four-year experience inspired Annalise to write her first book Teacher Unhinged under a pen name. It's a glimpse of what teacher life is like. Annalise used writing to process the secondary trauma of teaching and the family issues she had run away from. Annalise is still teaching, during the pandemic.
