R. Dean Johnson is a former fiction editor at Hayden's Ferry Review. He has taught composition, creative nonfiction, and fiction at Kansas State University, The University of Alabama, Arizona State University, Cameron University, and Prescott College. His essays and stories have appeared in several journals including Ascent, F. Scott Fitzgerald Review, New Orleans Review, Santa Clara Review, and The Southern Review.
