Social media had grown over the years. Things like small implants in each human to replace cell phones, 4D virtual glasses, 3D printers producing everything from thumb tacks to human body parts and contact lenses to watch television and much more had made a major impact on the world. Technology had reached an age that Hollywood once used to make into scary movies. With the genius minds of many engineers and with the use of superfast bio-technology, developers only needed to think of a project, and with the use of computer technology, they could produce it. Computers were able to do anything a human could do, only faster and with more precision. With the advancements in technology, crime and terrorism had not decreased; or for that matter, neither had it increased over the years. The advances had brought about better surveillance equipment to the point that many of the population felt that it was an invasion of privacy. The government, on the other hand, kept saying that without the surveillance of the world, crime and terrorism would increase and take over.

Thank you for checking out my newest edition to the Chain of Deceit story. Those of you that have read my previous novels already know my background; but for those that are new to my series, let me introduce myself. I am D.A. McIntosh, known to my friends as Retired from the US Army. a pilot, scuba instructor, traveler and much more. I have four children, eleven grandkids and one great-granddaughter. I spend a lot of time researching information for my books; some of that research is printed in the paper book and Kindle editions, at the end of the story.
