During the challenge of initiations, Lola is informed of the precarious dilemma with fellow jaguar magicians (gay, trans or queer beings) on the Planet of Great Consciousness (Earth). Not only does Lola learn about their world, heshe also seeks to liberate all humans within Gaia's realm and help them ascend from 3rd dimensional dual consciousness into 5th dimensional's realm of 'one-love'. While a daunting task, the author has created 176 illustrations to help charm and ultimately shift the human 'dreaming mind'. Following a 5-act play-like structure, Tales of a Jaguar Magician, redeems readers by reminding them of the universal laws of compassion. Undoubtedly, the books' lyrical, bardic style tales will be referred to for years to come. Lastly, at some point everyone asks, "Who am I"? Often for good or bad, in the isolation and confusion of what it means to be human, stories and myths have been rewritten to impose prejudice within the current tribal or societal paradigm. Similar to the childhood game of 'telephone', where a story is passed from one to another by word of mouth, in the end, the group witnesses how a tale can dramatically change from its original form. Sadly, groups of society become scapegoated when a simple story becomes more complex, or a complex story becomes over simplified, and so on. Imagine what happens when a story was told in metaphor or poetic lyrics?

Using various media formats to lift consciousness to new levels the author fully illustrates their books. c. huilo c. has exhibited and performed around the world. In each of their works, a phantasmagoric approach puts the view into a dream-like world of elves, wizards, ghouls and more. The writer is also a sculptor, performer, filmmaker, and painter. Noted by curators, is their sense of saturated colors that vibrate loudly on the canvas and dazzle the eyes. The sculptures, while abstract also illumined a sort of physical mythology about homoeroticism and the sacred. The characters in the books developed their own language and stir the cauldron of possibility using what the author terms, language of light, aka, queerly inspired. The author is a self-proclaimed wizard of sorts and has devoted their life to ecological recovery of the planet's life force, deeper discussion on why gender fluidity is inherently integral and important to the health of modern society. Tagged as a queer jester, lord of the dreamy phantasmagoria dragqueen a la magician, this author is one creative person. Early days they were inspired and heavily influenced by working in the adverstising world. Invoking techniques to shift perception and desire in positive ways, c. huilo c. uses strong references to symbolism.
