Claus Hessler's name stands for top-level instrumental standards in the fields of Moeller technique, rudiments, coordination and open-handed playing combined with a wide-ranging musical and stylistic spectrum and an encyclopedic knowledge of percussion across the board. On his many tours abroad he has given guest lectures and held master classes with globally renowned institutes and drum events in around 40 countries. In Germany, Claus Hessler teaches at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts, the University of Popular Music and Music Business in Mannheim and the Music College Dinkelsbuehl. Internationally renowned drummers such as David Garibaldi, Daniel Adair and Anika Nilles greatly value his expertise communicated in his private teaching activities.
