What if dogs could talk? You might be surprised at what they'd say. In people world we call animals "pets". But what if dogs didn't know any better, and they did the same? What if, in dog world, people were the pets? What if dogs had personalities, likes and dislikes, favorite foods, favorite people, favorite music, favorite places? That might explain their seemingly erratic antics. Rock and his friends at the Hope Mills Municipal Dog Park are on a roll. And they don't intend to stop. It's way too much fun. These are the adventures of Rock the Mutt and his friends - some real, some imaginary - enjoying doggie life in Hope Springs, and their effect those close at hand, human and canine alike. Or, in Rock's own words, "Puppy Power!" Creating a disturbance wherever he goes he's lovable, gentle, and oh, so adorable. Big ears, big feet, kind eyes, great sense of humor; easy to love, hard to hate, what's not to like? Welcome to my world. Hope you enjoy the trip.
Autorenporträt
How do you change your world? One word at a time. I'm a Christian who dreams of doing just that. I love my God with wild abandon, along with my guy Wolf and my two biggest blessings Alee and Sara, not forgetting my puppy hero, Rock. Everywhere I look I see life lessons. I have this bad habit of people watching. They amaze me, the things they choose to do. I've always been a glass-half-full kind of a person. I love humour and those who share it. I know you're a fool to judge a book by the cover. You'll miss opportunities to meet amazing people if you do. Met one of 'em on a beach, of all places. I love to write, in all kinds of genres. My pastor says that being a fruit inspector isn't judging, just examining facts. I tend to agree. Cref says if you let people talk long enough, they'll reveal what's in their heart. I've found this to be true. So I look for character traits - they tell far more about a person than they realize. I'm not perfect, but I'm on my way. What you see is not what used to be. I still remember BC (Before Christ) -I pray I never forget. When not writing I also love water, lighthouses, photography, laughter, creative people, Mexican food, snow skiing, dark chocolate, and reading in a hammock on cool spring days, not necessarily in that order. I absolutely love horses, wanted one since... forever... hasn't happened yet but I'm far from dead so I'm too not too worried. I invite you to stop by my place, karigraceplace.wordpress.com, any time - I love visitors! I'm very random, I know, but in my defense I've always believed that 5 foot 3 is way too short to be boring! I pray you know and love the One who put the stars in place with His fingers, and considered you to die for. Because He did. Die. For you. May He would grant you your heart's desire, and may you set your world on fire. Like John Wesley. K
