Her research interests include worldwide diffusion of democracy, political freedoms, economic and social development, and the effects of democratization on the well-being of societies. Ram Alagan is Professor of Geography at Alabama State University, USA. His research interests include GIS, Civil Rights GIS, Health Disparity, Environmental Impact Assessment, and Regional Studies.
