Ayurveda is an ancient science of healing that has stood the tides of time till today. The education and learning of Ayurveda had reached its zenith and was the much developed system of the time. But due to foreign Islamic and even the European invasion leading to colonialism and slavery, it got slowly reduced to a inferior or rudimentary status. Prof. Mahesh T.S. who is presently, Professor PAMC, Belthangady, Karnataka, India, is the son of Late Mr. T.S. Bhat and Mrs T Shankari S Bhat with 15 years of academic, research and practical experience in the field of Ayurveda. He got his UG For SDMCA, Hassan in 1999, PG from ALNRMAMC, Koppa in 2004 and PhD in Ayurveda from NIA, Jaipur in 2013.
