The identification of such lead compounds and optimum bioactive position on the basic skeleton is the area of drug design.

Dr. Mojahid is currently working as an Associate Professor in the School of Pharmacy, Sharda University, Greater Noida, U.P. He holds his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi. Also, he received a postdoctoral research fellowship in Computer-Aided Drug Design from the School of Pharmacy, University of Illinois, U.S.A.
