Synthesis of Nanocrystalline mixed/alloyed chalcogenide thin films has been carried out especially for MoBi2Se5 & MoBiInSe5 thin films. While preparing these thin films preparative parameters such as concentration of precursors, pH of solution, temperature of the bath etc. were optimized and characterized. Our aim is to prepare these films for Solar cell applications. This interesting material especially used to develop solid-state photovoltaic devices such as solar display.

Dr. R. M. Mane obtained M.Sc. degree in Chemistry from Shivaji University, Kolhapur, India in 2006. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in 2010 on Solid State Chemistry. Dr. Mane is presently working as a DST-Young Scientist and Assistant Professor in Department of Industrial Chemistry, Shivaji University, Kolhapur, India.
