Ovsynch as a reproductive tool with the supplementation of mineral mixture after deworming has been accepted worldwide in many farms. Ovsynch was worked by controlling follicular development and luteal function based on a scheme of injections of GnRH and PGF2 . Ovsynch allows ovulation to be timed with insemination, so that both egg and sperm are available at the correct time of fertilization. In this study supplementation of the mineral mixture and elimination of the parasitic infestation to all the experimental animals has shown an increased ovarian activity with oestrus response. Ovsynch protocol influenced and increased the conception rate of 75 in group I with that of the 50 per cent in group III of the RFM affected cows. A similar variation in the conception percentage of 87.50 and 62.50 recorded in group II and IV of normally calved cows is suggestive of the delayed puerperal activity in the RFM affected cows. Hence, GnRH in combination of PGF2 as Ovsynch protocol with thesupplementation of minerals and stress free environment tends to improve the post-partum uterine and ovarian activity thereby increasing the conception rate which is the iconic deal in the dairy industry.
