Cliff was in the Navy for three years after being discharged, he joined the fire department. He was a firefighter for 36 years after retiring from the fire department he decided to take up writing. The first book entitled Suzy and the Bug, and now the second book a great story Suzy and the Bug meet Nessie and the adventure they have at Loch Ness Scotland and they meet the Loch Ness Monster.
