The Sun Cities Area Historical Society is pleased to share the history of Sun City with photographs from its vast archive of historical treasures. These photographs depict the rich history of the community from its earliest days to recent celebrations surrounding its 50th anniversary. The society operates the Del E. Webb Sun Cities Museum, located in one of the first homes ever built in Sun City. Along with the photographs, the story of Sun City is told by coauthor Bret McKeand, a member of the society's board of trustees and the former editor and publisher of the local newspaper.
