Doris Bentley, born in Ontario, now lives in Fort McMurray with her family. She is known as the "Book Aunt" who gifts books, which she believes are better than toys. Her close association with the Dene, Cree, and Metis peoples of the North has enriched her life. Jessica Bromley Bartram is a graphic designer, living in Ottawa. She has won several awards, including the Association of Illustrator's Award for New Talent. She is the illustrator of Charles (9781554554164).
