¬¬Jane Golden is an avid sailor and lifelong boating enthusiast. She is also a hopeless romantic when it comes to sailing and sailors. In fact, she met her husband sailing from Destin, Florida, to Key West and raised two sons and a daughter, all of whom are excellent sailors in their own right.As a serial sailboat owner, racer, cruiser, and unpaid crewmember on friends' boats, she accumulated a wealth of knowledge to convey to women who wish to sail but find it a daunting task given their busy lives. She knows there is no requirement to leave everything and everyone behind, and circumnavigate the globe in order to discover the joy of sailing.
