In continuation of our interest on the application of [morH][HSO4] for the development of useful synthetic methodology. Therefore, we have made an attempt to synthesize 1,8-dioxo-octahydroxanthene, DiBenzoxanthene derivatives,and 14-aryl-14H-dibenzo[a,j]xanthenes.we performed the acylation of alcohols, thiols, phenols and amines using acetic anhydride in the presence of catalytic amount of morpholinium bisulfate. We have also carried out Triethylammonium acetate catalyzed organic transformations and Starch sulfuric acid catalyzed organic transformations in this attempt by the easy and economical and simple work up.
