Simultaneous hydrophilic/ oleophobic materials are desired for various applications where anti-fogging coatings are required, such as for solar cells or sensors. Victor A. Manrique grew up in Miami Beach, FL. He obtained an Associates Degree at Miami Dade College, and a Bachelors Degree in chemical engineering at Georgia Tech. He then studied for a Masters Degree at University of Pittsburgh, under the guidance of Dr. Lei Li and Dr. Andrew Kozbial.
