This work throws light on importance of VP in food hygiene and personal hygiene in control of food poisoning episodes and ability of VP strains of West Bengal to resist the conventional treatment for its effect in human.

She has more than 10 years of research experience in the field of antimicrobial resistance, food borne pathogens and its significance in public health.
