The suitable choice of dryer depends upon the factors such as capacity, economy, efficiency, throughput rate, and many external factors. Before selecting a certain type of equipment a proper study of all the parameters is conducted. A relative equation is developed, then designing and construction is carried out. The cost of production of equipment is estimated. In the final step the most suitable equipment is selected and the equipment is brought to the ground. A fluidized bed dryer can be competitive with other convectional drying methods especially at high moisture level and low energy consumption. Drying on fluidized bed is a reliable and economical method. Fluidized bed dryers are among the most attractive dryers due to their advantages. High drying, heat and mass transfer rates, short drying time, flexibility in operation and low capital and operating cost are the most significant properties of fluidized bed dryers.
